From Challenge to Calling. Faith in Action.
Structured Support for Faith-Centered Growth
Interfaith Foundation was established with a clear purpose: to collaborate and grow in faith through service, leadership development, and intentional community engagement. As a developing organization, we are building programs and partnerships that reflect our commitment to faith-rooted formation and meaningful service.
While the foundation itself is newly formed, its leadership brings decades of combined experience in community service, outreach, and mentorship across Fort Bend County and the greater Houston area. That foundation of hands-on experience, grounded in compassion and integrity, shapes the direction we are building.
Our work is guided by core principles of service, stewardship, compassion, and responsible leadership. We believe lasting impact grows from intentional collaboration, consistent character, and faith lived out in everyday life.
As we continue to expand our partnerships and network, Interfaith Foundation remains focused on cultivating environments where individuals can grow in faith, strengthen leadership, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Seeds of Service
About Our Founders
Rooted in faith, community, and service, Interfaith Foundation was founded by Ammie Sims and TJ Gonzales. While TJ is a lifelong resident of Fort Bend County, Ammie brings more than a decade of experience in real estate, offering a deep understanding of community development, land stewardship, and the importance of building strong foundations, both structurally and relationally, within the places people call home. Together, they share a commitment to unity, stewardship, and people-centered leadership.
Fort Bend County is one of the most diverse counties in the United States, with residents speaking more than 126 languages and representing a wide range of faith traditions, cultures, and lived experiences. Within this extraordinary diversity, interfaith understanding, respectful dialogue, and collaborative service are not optional; they are essential. Interfaith Foundation exists to help bridge these differences, strengthen relationships, and foster mutual respect across the community.
Ammie’s work is grounded in interfaith collaboration, community restoration, and the belief that lasting impact is built through equal shared responsibility and care for both people and place.
Alongside her, TJ Gonzales, Founder and Director of Partnerships, brings more than 22 years of trusted service within the Fort Bend County community. As a Creative Director at Visible Changes, TJ holds a high level of client requests, an achievement earned not through marketing but through character, consistency, and genuine care for people. His career reflects the power of relationships built on trust, respect, and presence.
Their leadership reflects a multi-generational commitment to service that is relational, sustainable, and deeply rooted in the people and land of Fort Bend County. Together, they are building a foundation for unity, stewardship, and hope for generations to come.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” —Jeremiah 29:11
